AMERICORPS VISTA POSITION AVAILABLE: For this Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) position sponsored by WNY AmeriCorps, you will serve with The NativityMiguel Middle School of NativityMiguel Buffalo. The VISTA member will work with the school's president to create a sustainable grant-writing program. The optimal VISTA candidate will have an affinity for the school's mission, an ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, and have excellent communication skills. This is a one year position starting on June 21, 2010. Benefits include a $10,692 stipend, free health care, deferment of federal student loans, and a $5,450 education award with completion of service.
